Illegal brothel for foreigners uncovered in Bishkek

An illegal brothel operating under the guise of a karaoke bar was shut down in Bishkek. The press center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) reported.

Investigations revealed that the establishment offered intimate services exclusively to foreign clients.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (Facilitation of prostitution and debauchery).

The entertainment venue was run by the foreign owner, Zh.I., who recruited women with low social responsibility for bar visitors and profited from escort and other services.

The suspect has been placed in the SCNS temporary detention facility.

During searches, authorities seized substances visually resembling narcotics and large sums of money.
