The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has carried out its sixth — and largest — foreign exchange intervention in 2025.
A total of $173.9 million was sold on the interbank market, including $65.3 million settled on the same day and $108.6 million settled on a different date.
The operation was conducted at an exchange rate of 87.45 soms per U.S. dollar, amid a period of currency stability.
Since the beginning of 2025, the National Bank has sold a total of $590.5 million.
