Beaten woman hospitalized in Bishkek, husband detained

A woman was hospitalized in Bishkek after being severely beaten, the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of Leninsky district reported.

According to the police, on September 19 the police received information from one of the city hospitals about a patient admitted with injuries from beating.

Her husband has been detained on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm and placed in a temporary detention facility. An investigation is underway.
