Kyrgyzstan will host Gallops, a world-famous expedition horse race, from July 19 to July 27, 2025 on the shores of Son-Kul Lake. The Department of Tourism reported.
According to the department, this is an equestrian marathon in Paris-Dakar format, which is a team competition in orientation and endurance. Over the course of five days, participants will cover about 200 kilometers across the vast expanses of the Kyrgyz Republic, testing their riding skills, fortitude, self-discipline and team unity.
The project brings together 100 riders from more than 15 countries, including actors, celebrities and representatives of royal families.
In 2014, Gallops was held in Oman, in 2018 — in Morocco, in 2019 — in India, and in 2021 — in Jordan.
