The National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Kyrgyzstan has formed a commission of athletes. Website of the organization says.
«The commission of athletes is a new body for the committee. Its appearance is dictated by the course of the current leadership of the NOC towards openness, transparency, efficiency, strengthening ties with local and international sports federations,» the head of the NOC, Sadyr Mamytov, said.
Five people were elected to the commission — Akzhol Makhmudov, Kanykei Kubanychbekova, Maxim Gordeev, Denis Petrashov and Nursultan Keneshbekov.
«All of them are active athletes, they have experience in participation in the Olympic Games. Two of them will participate in the General Assemblies of the NOC with the right to vote, one will join the executive committee. The first meeting of the commission is planned to be held in June,» the organization noted.
